I prefer the teal coloured charms, because they are a lot easier to make. Also it’s the original colour from the movie. I will be selling these necklaces in order to afford a new video camera, so I can start filming my project ‘Sailor Moon Analemma’. (I was so tired before filming this D= But I worked so hard on the charms that I wanted to get this video up as soon as possible)

Question by Jansen L: How much should I charge for handmade chainmail jewelry?

I’m thinking of selling handmade chainmail jewelry on craigslist, and I’m wondering how much I should charge to make it reasonable but still come out with a nice profit. Any suggestions?

Chainmail done right is really time consuming. Though the materials are not generally pricey the hours of work add up. I generally charge an hour for labor (and that is a decounted rate for hte current economy). Unless you have a huge SCA following on your craiglsit, you are better off selling to more target specific groups. As I said, SCA, ren faire people, etc wil be more in tune to spending real amounts of money on mail.
