I make little desserts and things out of polymer clay. I want to start turning them into jewelry pieces and selling them to put the money towards photography gear. (gahh such an expensive hobby)

Someone once told me to take the amount of money it takes to make each item and multiply that by three. Sometimes that seems like way too much and sometimes not enough.

So what is the real rule to pricing handmade items?

it all depends on if they look good or not, price them so the u make a profit, and what people might buy them for. if u give me a link to see them, and info on material costs, i would happily give u my opinion on prices.
